- Parish priests regularly visit classrooms.
- Class sizes range from 16-23 students with a student-teacher ratio of 1 to 13.
- Standardized test score results support the strength of our academic achievement with all classes scoring
well above the national average.
- A strong phonics program is begun in kindergarten and continued through grade 4.
- The Simple Solutions math program is reflecting improved math skills in primary through intermediate grades.
- A fully equipped computer lab and a computer technology instructor offer integration of technology with academics.
- A well equipped media center includes a large collection of books and a certified librarian.
- We also have a strong physical education program with a full time instructor.
- A resource teacher works with students as needed.
- Advanced math class placement is possible in 6th through 8th grades.
- Spanish is taught to students in 7th and 8th grades.
FINE ARTS

- A strong visual and performing arts program is a hallmark of Holy Cross Catholic School.
- Students in grades kindergarten through 8th explore music with a full time music teacher.
- 6th graders learn to play the guitar through in-class instruction. We have been privileged to have
Ron Cooley from Mannheim Steamroller work with this program for a number of years now.
- Students enhance their art skills with our strong art program led by an art instructor.
- Music in Catholic Schools is offered for instrumental lessons.
